| Protection of Vulnerable Adults |
This is a half day course (4 hrs) and is intended to raise awareness and equip care workers with the underpinning knowledge and key skills required to give them confidence to identify abuse and understand reporting arrangements. The syllabus of the course follows the principles of The No Secrets policy (In Safe Hands in Wales), which lays down guidelines for multi-agency codes of practice to prevent and tackle abuse.
The guidelines requires all relevant agencies and organisations to ensure that personnel have a baseline understanding of abuse and how it can be recognised.
